Hello everyone, I am just getting back from a week of muzzle loader hunting, had a great time in the woods! As luck would have it I drew a doe tag and well I had one shot at a doe, which I missed : ( But saw lots of elk, as usual, if I were hunting elk, I would have some more meat in my freezer. I got some cool video of a large 6x6 bull rubbing on a tree and just chilling after a shot was taken at a cow within 50 yards of him,,, That would not have happend if I had a bull tag!!
Caleb came down just for fun and joined John, Matt and I. We took it easy and did a lot of four wheeling and even some fishing for brookies in the areas streams and beaver ponds. We kept a brookie each as well as several grouse, which were everywhere, and had us some camp fire grouse and trout Mmmmmm!

Sandy stayed home, she wasn't much for hiking miles straight up hill and all,
Couldn't tell you why?? So she stayed and held down the home front.
Well its back to work for me, I have had lots of time off recently, and now have my Chief's interview coming up on Thursday September 25th, so it looks like another trip to Junction is in my near future. See you all soon.
