37-week appointment

We had our 37 week Doctors Appointment yesterday and overall, everything is fine. What I mean by that is, in the past I have been growing at a rapid speed. Which can mean one of two things, either baby was tucked up under my ribs and within the last few weeks he has come out which caused the rapid growth of my belly, or baby is going to be a BIG baby. So, after learning this Doctor did her "guess" as to how big Korbin is and she says he will probably be between 8 and 9 pounds. She also had us get an ultrasound done that measures the amount of fluid Korbin still has to make sure it is a healthy amount. He has plenty of fluid! Now, next week, we go back for an additional ultrasound that is a bio-metrics and will tell us his actual size.

I want Korbin to be healthy but that's a big baby and Hopefully he comes sooner rather than later. Well I guess that is up to him to decide!

We also did our pre-registration and hospital tour. Our hospital is the only hospital in the state of Colorado to be a "Baby Friendly" hospital. Which means they do certain things that are for baby's best interest. For example, the baby is delivered onto Mom's stomach and is within the first hour breastfeed. He also will stay in our room and anytime he needs anything they will come to us. Of course, if something is wrong they have a nursery and everything, but as long as he is healthy he will always be with us. We also are allowed to go anywhere he goes if they need to take him somewhere. Kinda cool.
